Para Kopois Winery
Petros Roussos from Parakopi, coming from a rural family, took over his father’s business at the age of just 21.
Being from a very young age in the fields and vineyards of the family, it was a one-way for him to deal with the winery.
He built a small winery and named it “Para kopois”. In privately owned vineyards he cultivates Serifiotiko, Roditi and Kountoura.
In his first year he made two wines. “Nisou Methi”, white and pink, with the advice of an experienced oenologist, Elias Roussakis.

He also produces a sweet wine called “Onore”, made from sundried grapes.
The whole production is available exclusively in Syros because, as he says, he must first step on his feet and then open up to larger markets.
His goal is to improve the quality of the wine he produces, and at the same time to promote the local variety, Serifiotiko, in the dynamic of which he has strong faith.
His parents and wife are allies in his effort, in a purely family business.
