Today we are traveling to Syros to taste a different rose from @parakopois.

This lovely boutique winery makes this lovely rose wine from the local indigenous Serifiotiko and Koudoura varieties

Today we are tasting for the first time a lovely rose wine from Syros island. Rose “Nisou Methy” from Para…kopois winery. A blend of the varieties Serifiotiko and Koudoura. Lets taste it.

In the nose we have aromas of ripe apricot, lemon blossom, strawberry and cherry and mineral notes.

In the mouth, medium body, medium + acidity and lovely finish that lasts. I would pair it with delicious fried shrimps and the view of endless (sea) blue.

In Syros there is a great winemaking work made lately. In our bottle today Petros and Anezoula (the owners) are giving us a lovely rose wine and i am certain that in the near future we should expect great things from Parakopois winery.
